Department of Physical Educations started in the academic year 1976-1977 we run the department. Department as governed by the sports committee, principal as president, Director of Physical Education as a secretary with five faculty members of various department.
The sports activities are approved by the sports committee for the action plane for the entire year. Sports activity, the department presently having Volley Ball Court, Badminton Court, Kabaddi Court, Basket Ball Court, Ball Badminton Court, Hand Ball Court, Kho-Kho Court, Cricket Field And 200 Mts Athletic Track for the year outdoor activities. Indore activities are Chess, Carom and Table Tennis.
Our college students are participated in Silambam, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Best Physic, Boxing and Take-Won-Do. The department provides regular practice to men and women sports and games.
Our college team participated in the University of Madras Inter collegiate tournament and sports and state level open competitions we are conducting Intramural Sports for every year both men and women separately. Our students won many prizes and medals and also placed in Railways, Police, Army and Several Private Companies in sports quota.
This year (2022-2023) our college conducted Inter-Collegiate Take-Won-Do tournament successfully. The department activities are still running successfully with the full cooperation of our principal.
