The department of English i.e., B.A English was started in the year 1979. Studentsbenefitted lot with the UG course in English. The passed out students expressed their desire to do Master in English. Keeping in view the academic needs of the students nearby Tiruttani, The Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Tamilnadu sanctioned Post Graduate course in English during the academic year 2013 – 14.
