The Department of Business Administration was established in the academic year 2013- 2014. At present the department is offering only undergraduate programme. The course is a semester pattern consisting of Odd and Even Semesters and follows Choice Based Credit System. The course is affiliated to University of Madras Chennai. The Number of Teaching Posts allotted to BBA department at present is six posts (06) Dr.A. Senthilrajan is serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department. Followed by the respective faculty members Dr. A.N. Solayappan, Dr.S. Padmanaban and Dr.J. Sivakumar all the three faculties were deputed from Annamalai University. While Dr.K. Hari and Dr.B. Shanthi are on deputation to R.K Nagar and Kundrathur Govt Arts College respectively. The Students Teacher Ratio of the Under Graduation Program -BBA is 33:1. At present the department is granted permission to guide Ph.D. in Part – Time mode. The percentage of students’ progression to higher studies is 25 percent. The department has so far conducted two one day international seminars and organised two, one day workshop in the college.
